Janet is looking for love. Leo and Janet are friends. Ken is involved with Andy. When Ken meets Leo in a supermarket and they make out in a lift, the lives of the four characters intersect with extraordinary results. Playwright Jacobs trawls the underbelly of youth culture in Cape Town. ‘Dalliances’ is set in the mad, giddy world of young adults challenged with every restless temptation. The play explores their sexuality, gay and straight, use of drugs and their dysfunctional relationships and comes up with the most extraordinary and unexpected results!
