“Killed By Curriculum” is a dark comedy based around the concept of influence and placed within the context of a typical sixth year classroom.

One of the main themes in the play is the “weight of words that resonate”. This is represented through the reactions of the students to the prescribed poetry on the Leaving Certificate Curriculum.

The narrative dips in and out of rhyme as the six main characters compete through tragedy with their own stories that are all unified by the same question;

“Do you Identify?”
